Designers Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig specialize in creating moments worthy of cinematic spectacle. Their tiered ballgowns and frothy tulle evening gowns come imbued with the kind of instantaneous wow factor that leaves onlookers gasping. Indeed the oohs and aahs at Wednesday&#8217;s presentation were audible. Guests marveled at the ornate detailing, the layers of lace, crystal, marabou, sequins and more &#8211; there was almost too much baroque goodness to digest. Though Chapman and Craig aren&#8217;t minimalists, they do understand the importance of restraint; the clean color palate and edgy touches like snakeskin pants, kept this explosion of femininity from
