The couple met while studying at beauty school in Tokyo and have been inseparable since, with a long-distance move to New York City cementing their careers. Through their journey, mentors like hairstylist <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/bob-recine\">Bob Recine<\/a> and makeup artists <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/pat-mcgrath\">Pat McGrath<\/a> and <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/Yadim\">Yadim <\/a> were instrumental to their education before they organically started working with photographic cohorts like <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/Ethan-James-Green\">Ethan James Green<\/a>, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/charlotte-wales\">Charlotte Wales<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/richard-burbridge\">Richard Burbridge<\/a>. With luxury clients like Saint Laurent, Junya Watanabe, and Loewe, in 2020, Takase became the global creative director of the Japanese beauty brand <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/addiction-beauty\">ADDICTION Tokyo<\/a>, bringing in a renowned roster for campaigns shot by Wales, Burbridge, Mario Sorrenti, and Elizaveta Porodina.
