Growing up in the Netherlands with a family deeply entrenched in the arts \u2013 her father was a renowned theatrical performer, her mother a visual artist, and her brother a musician \u2013 Liberg was nurtured early in a world of creativity and artistic expression with her first muse as her sister. That deep familial relationship influenced her photographic journey and inspired by the likes of Helmut Newton and Sally Mann, Liberg, as a pre-teen, turned her lens towards her friends and family, adorning them in eclectic pieces from her parents\u2019 wardrobe from Kenzo, Yohji Yamamoto, and Comme des Gar\u00e7ons. <\/p>\n<p>Since that early start, a formal turn at the Royal Academy of Arts, and apprenticing with photographer Paul Kooiker, Liberg\u2019s work has since graced the pages of renowned magazines like Self Service, i-D Magazine, Document Journal, and M le Monde, while collaborating with prestigious clients such as Prada, Miu Miu, Zara, and Gucci, marking her as a significant talent in contemporary fashion photography. She even turned those earliest portraits of her first muses into two books, Sister Sister and Willemijn, published by Art Paper Editions in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
