Over time, he honed his makeup skills and shared his work on Instagram, ultimately catching the attention of legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath, marking the beginning of his career. <\/p>\n<p>Known for his clean, glossy, and versatile aesthetic, his portfolio boasts a diverse clientele, including top models and actors like <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/models\/paloma-elsesser\">Paloma Elsesser<\/a>, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/lily-rose-depp\">Lily-Rose Depp<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/models\/joan-smalls\">Joan Smalls<\/a>. His work has graced the covers of magazines like American Vogue and Vogue Italia, featured in editorials in Elle US and British Vogue, and in campaigns for Dion Lee and Theory. As an immigrant and refugee, Gutierrez has become an advocate for increased diversity and representation in the fashion industry, especially for Latin Americans. He stands as a trailblazer in this regard, notably being the first Colombian cast as a lead makeup artist for a cover of American Vogue.
