Yet, this past fashion week season, there was a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VVFriedman\/status\/1625125929994358787?lang=en\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">notable shift<\/a> backward in the progress of body diversity presence on the runway. As one of the industry\u2019s brightest lights, supermodel <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/models\/ashley-graham\">Ashley Graham<\/a> has surpassed barriers while demanding the respect and inclusion of curve models in high fashion. As an advocate for body positivity, her presence led the way for others to be included within the broadening framework of the modeling industry. After modeling for years, Graham nabbed a historic cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue back in 2016, which changed the trajectory of her career to include landing covers for American and British Vogue, V Magazine, and Harper\u2019s Bazaar. With a lucrative Revlon beauty contract, tv appearances, and even her own Barbie, Graham has elevated her career by pushing into the public sphere, like her recent Oscar red carpet moment, holding her own interviewing the Hollywood elite. Now a wife and mother of three, Graham is redefining what it means to be a supermodel and has one message for those that would block progress &#8211; her body isn\u2019t a trend.
