Through insurmountable rejection and just as many wins, these muses have locked down luxury clients while rising through the ranks from the Hot List to the Top 50 working models in the World. While this year was in no way normal, thanks to the global shutdown and an ongoing pandemic, an unstoppable industry has dialed up the creativity while models have rolled with the professional punches. Since she was born, Lila Grace Moss Hack&#8217;s pedigree seemed on an inevitable track to the modeling world being the daughter of British supermodel, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/models\/Kate-Moss\">Kate Moss<\/a> and Dazed Media titan, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/jefferson-hack\">Jefferson Hack<\/a>. Yet a ranked position amongst the modeling world&#8217;s top faces is not a given, it must be earned and the blossoming Moss has stood out as of late with gigs with luxury fashion\u2019s biggest names. <\/p>\n<p>With an opening and closing slot at Miu Miu this past season, the 18-year-old was the exclamation point in a fashion week that was anything but normal. Prior to walking she\u2019s appeared four times in advertisements with the brand along with three bookings for Marc Jacobs Beauty and Fragrances and reckons the latter to being like kin, what with Jacobs\u2019s steadfast friendship with her mother. &#8220;I&#8217;ve always been a huge fan of Daisy so when I found out I was chosen for [Marc Jacobs&#8217; Perfect] campaign I was really excited,\u201d Moss relates. &#8220;Working with the Marc Jacobs team feels like a big family now and it&#8217;s really comfortable.\u201d The model has been an indication that quality makes a bigger impact than quantity in editorial and photography\u2019s giants have captured the rising muse for fashion&#8217;s top tomes &#8211; David Bailey, Mario Sorrenti, David Sims, Tim Walker, Willy Vanderperre, and Alasdair McLellan to list a few. \u201cMy first [solo] cover was with Dazed with Tim Walker shooting me, it was taken as if it were in my bedroom; there were butterflies printed all over the wall and it was really magical.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With all that success it\u2019s easy to forget that the teenager is studying for her A-Levels yet Moss is grounded, learning beyond her textbooks with absolute grace. The promising model has used this past year to learn from fashion\u2019s biggest players and evolve how she moves on camera, even on non-traditional sets like this Models.com one shot at KMA Agency. &#8220;I think part of modeling is having a voice and being very creative,\u201d she muses. &#8220;Especially right now when we have to be more creative with doing shoots on Zoom and we have to collaborate to help out with styling and choose sets. It&#8217;s exciting and I&#8217;ve definitely become more involved in the process.\u201d The ultimate piece of life advice her model mom gives her? \u201cLess is more, especially when it comes to makeup.
