Since its conception in 2012, Document Journal has produced content that is both inspirational and directional rather than merely aspirational. Celebrating creativity over commercialism, the independent publication has become known for its democratic approach to collaboration with a diverse group of talent ranging from Rei Kawakubo to Larry Clark. Filmed prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, Editor-in-Chief & Creative Director Nick Vogelson and Fashion/Creative Director Sarah Richardson discussed with us their shared vision and the inner workings of Document Journal’s close-knit creative community.
