The Graduates

Rosalieke Fuchs

For the past decade, Models.com’s The Graduates series has been a visual check-in with the models of the moment who have consistently performed at the highest levels, going from the rising newcomers on the Hot List to the Top 50 recognizable muses throughout the world. Stars like Bella Hadid, Hoyeon, Vittoria Ceretti, Selena Forrest, and Sora Choi, to name a few, have all taken part in the milestone series that uniquely marks the shift in a model’s career. With major bookings in editorials, advertisements, lookbooks, and on the runway, these models have consistently locked down luxury clients in the most competitive markets while continuing to dominate on the global stage.

To commemorate this season, we flew to Paris during the madness of fashion week to shoot all the top talent with photographer Valentin Herfray. This year’s cast connects with the Models.com team to divulge how they got their starts, the key brands and creatives that have made their careers, and taking their place in the upper echelons.

After a long runway to stardom, Dutch model Rosalieke Fuchs is finally having her moment in the spotlight. Scouted at just 11 and waiting until 18 to start modeling, Fuchs spent years honing her craft before exploding onto the scene these past two show seasons. Now the newly minted Top 50 model is fresh off a stellar show season that saw her conquer the Big Four fashion capitals—New York, London, Milan, and Paris—with over 100 runway appearances under her belt. She stormed the runways for marquee brands like Givenchy, Max Mara, Schiaparelli, Khaite and Michael Kors, her poised presence and fluid walk making her a catwalk fixture from New York to Paris.

In the past year alone, Fuchs’s editorial career has been just as meteoric. She collaborated with Steven Meisel on a Zara campaign, landed a Harper’s Bazaar Italia cover shot by Sølve Sundsbø, and became one of the faces of Chloé’s Winter 2024 collection under the lens of David Sims. The Dutch beauty has also stepped in front of Oliver Hadlee Pearch’s camera for a D Repubblica fashion story and graced a special issue lensed by Sharna Osborne, while embracing more experimental shoots with talents like Robin Galiegue for Beyond Noise. “What I’ve learned most,” she reflects, “is that we’re all just individuals trying to create something together. Where at first I’d show up nervous, now I realize it’s a shared process—and that’s when the real magic happens.” Together, these high-profile projects, coupled with her infectious enthusiasm for the creative process, signal that Fuchs’s graduation from the Hot List to the Top 50 is only the beginning of an even bigger career ahead.
