The Graduates

Libby Taverner

For the past decade, Models.com’s The Graduates series has been a visual check-in with the models of the moment who have consistently performed at the highest levels, going from the rising newcomers on the Hot List to the Top 50 recognizable muses throughout the world. Stars like Bella Hadid, Hoyeon, Vittoria Ceretti, Selena Forrest, and Sora Choi, to name a few, have all taken part in the milestone series that uniquely marks the shift in a model’s career. With major bookings in editorials, advertisements, lookbooks, and on the runway, these models have consistently locked down luxury clients in the most competitive markets while continuing to dominate on the global stage.

To commemorate this season, we flew to Paris during the madness of fashion week to shoot all the top talent with photographer Valentin Herfray. This year’s cast connects with the Models.com team to divulge how they got their starts, the key brands and creatives that have made their careers, and taking their place in the upper echelons.

It’s been less than a year since Perth-born Libby Taverner made her runway debut as a Prada exclusive – soon followed by turns for Chanel, Louis Vuitton, The Row, Saint Laurent and more in that very first season – and already she’s soared into a coveted spot on Models.com’s Top 50. From commanding the spotlight at Vogue World 2025 in Los Angeles (where she donned Demna’s inaugural Gucci collection) to fronting high-profile Fall/Winter 2025 campaigns for Fendi, McQueen, and Saint Laurent, Taverner’s breakneck rise is no small feat for someone who only decided to pursue modeling after finishing her first year of university back home.

In the past year alone, the Australian newcomer has been captured by an enviable roster of fashion’s top image-makers – Steven Meisel, Craig McDean, Glen Luchford, David Sims, and Inez & Vinoodh – cementing her status as one of the most in-demand faces of the moment. She’s also graced the covers of AnOther Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar France, Pop, System, D la Repubblica, and M Le Monde, further solidifying her place as fashion’s breakout star of 2025. Blending poised elegance with chameleon-like versatility, Taverner navigates the industry’s fast pace with an ease that contradicts her relative newcomer status. “This moment has just shown how much hard work can pay off,” she reflects. “You have to wait for your timing—the universe has your path sorted out—and once it’s right, everything just falls into place.”
