Cushnie et Ochs S/S 13

Michelle Ochs and Carly Cushnie looked to the islands for inspiration this season, with the design duo finding guidance in the traditions and style of the Philippines. Ochs is half-Filipino herself and the designer’s personal connection to the source material showed in the tightly focused and beautiful collection.

As always the duo created a look that was body conscious and revealing without ever delving into anything raunchy. Even the barely there bikinis had a touch of class that kept things interesting. The cultivated take on sex appeal made its way into the duo’s dresses, with black white and seafoam numbers hugging curves like a second skin.
