The Graduates

Saar Mansvelt Beck

For over a decade, Models.com’s The Graduates series has served as a visual check-in with the models of the moment who have consistently performed at the highest levels, graduating from rising newcomers on the Hot List to the Top 50’s most recognizable faces. Stars like Bella Hadid, Hoyeon, Vittoria Ceretti, Selena Forrest, and Sora Choi, to name a few, have all taken part in the milestone series, which marks a defining shift in a model’s career. With major bookings across editorials, campaigns, lookbooks, and runways, these models have secured their places among fashion’s most sought-after talents, working with leading luxury houses and influential creatives while continuing to make their mark on the global stage.

For the 2026 edition, Models.com headed back to Paris during the whirlwind of Fashion Week to capture this year’s graduating class through the lens of photographer Valentin Herfray, with styling by Dara and looks exclusively from LVMH Prize finalist De Pino. Beyond the images, the cast sits down with the Models.com team to reflect on their unexpected beginnings, career-defining moments, the designers and photographers who have shaped their journeys, and what lies ahead as they cement their positions as the next generation of leading faces in fashion.

Dutch Top 50 model Saar Mansvelt Beck has quickly established herself as one of fashion’s most promising new faces. Since making her international runway debut at Dior in Paris in 2025, Mansvelt Beck has walked for a laundry list of luxury houses including Miu Miu, Hermès, Givenchy, Chloé, Valentino, and The Row. Her S/S 27 season marked another milestone as she completed her first full fashion month circuit, beginning with Tommy Hilfiger in New York and wrapping up with Sacai in Paris. Yet her introduction to modeling was not entirely left to chance. Having wanted to model for years, Mansvelt Beck initially submitted herself to an agency but received no response. “It was really such a coincidence because one week later another agency scouted me on Instagram and I stayed with that agency,” she recalled. That unexpected opportunity would eventually lead to her Dior debut (along with Jonathan Anderson’s womenswear debut) and an ongoing relationship with the French house, with a recent campaign photographed by David Sims. Reflecting on the experience, she said, “It was a really fun experience. What’s really fun about the Dior campaign is there is also acting.”

“You have no control over it, so don’t try to stress and have fun where you can have fun. Let it happen. It comes to you.”

Since her debut, Mansvelt Beck has worked with some of fashion’s most celebrated photographers, including Steven Meisel, Paolo Roversi, and David Sims, while securing campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Phoebe Philo, and Versace. Her experience working with Meisel was particularly memorable. “It felt really surreal,” she recalled. “He has a really certain way of working, and that’s what’s really special.” Away from the industry’s demanding schedule, Mansvelt Beck finds comfort in cooking and baking, often preferring an Airbnb over a hotel so she can recreate a sense of familiarity while traveling. “You really need a place where you can feel like home,” she explained. She hopes to continue exploring editorial work and has her sights set on walking for Saint Laurent, a personal dream. Despite her growing success, Mansvelt Beck remains refreshingly relaxed about the unpredictability of the industry. “You have no control over it, so don’t try to stress and have fun where you can have fun,” she advised. “Let it happen. It comes to you.”
