As kings of the fashion spectacle, Viktor and Rolf are faced with the challenge of raising the stakes each and every season. Not content to rest on their laurels when it comes to theatrical staging, the pair presented their spring collection in a most unusual way: models walked through a mammoth skirt that opened up like a curtain as French duo, Brigitte, sang high above the crowd. The concept was novel, as were the various ensembles that made their way down the catwalk. Dainty cocktail dresses, emblazoned with oversized stitch detailing, shared space with satin trenches, corsetry inspired belts and heels covered in ruffles. Then there were the gowns – it isn’t a V&R show without a gown that takes your breath away. The finale dresses with their exaggerated proportions felt like a glorious throwback to the days of 50s couture, modernized with the signature Viktor and Rolf wit. Even the snowy white wedding number worn by Julia Nobis seemed to have a touch of the unexpected, with its oversized lacing and girlish bow veil.

Seeing Catherine McNeil back on the circuit this season makes me a very happy girl! She is a stunner.
Add Nobis and Kershaw to the mix and it’s the best bunch of Aussie ladies out there.
These photographs are lovely; they show details well. That said, not loving the clothes. Old and heavy as hell, and not in a good way.
The models are amazing and great show.
They wear light and heavy dresses and high hells.
