Natasa Now

April 10th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

With her skillful posing and innate presence in front of the camera Natasa Vojnovic elevates every editorial she appears in. With over a decade in the business the always in demand Ms. Vojnovic knows how to work it in front of the camera – no wonder she’s doing double duty this month in the pages of Interview Magazine and British Vogue with stellar editorials that put her allure to good use. Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello enlist Vojnovic for a sumptuous bohemian affair heavy on pattern and lush greenery. Gregory Harris (Management + Artists) takes her into darker territory showing the other side of bohemia in his stripped down, atmospheric shoot for Interview – two wildly different stories united by their gorgeous subject and chic interpretations of the boho trend.

Party Girl

April 9th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

Kate Moss turns stylist in the pages of British Vogue with a fashion feature by Craig McDean. Transforming Freja Beha Erichsen into a festival ready rock chick complete with leather jackets and DIY embellishments like studs and pins. Freja pulls off the Moss selected wares admirably – making the layers of fringe and frills look ready for a night out on the town or a day at Coachella. Paul Hanlon‘s artfully tousled waves and Mark Carrasquillo (Art Partner)’s smoky eye add a touch of undone glamour to this streetwise look.

Moss Is Boss

April 2nd, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

Kate Moss is more than a mere model, the veteran super has been quietly diversifying her personal brand with an array of key collaborations and partnerships. As a designer Moss’ has released several collections with fashion giant, Topshop each one selling out faster than her last. The pieces – largely inspired by Moss’ storied vintage collection strike a chord with Topshop’s youthful clientele and Moss’ legion of acolytes. With the next collection set to debut in May it’s only natural that Kate & Co. would kick things into high gear with a media blitz. Fresh looks from the collection can be seen on Moss’ May covers of Harper’s Bazaar and British Vogue, where Moss takes a hands on approach styling fellow catwalker Freja Beha Erichsen in a bohemian look within the issue’s pages.

Through the Lens

March 21st, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

The legacy of Linda McCartney lives on in the pages of British Vogue with an atmospheric story by Glen Luchford (Art Partner) reminding us all of the celebrated photographer and animal rights activist’s natural charms.

Stylist Jane How (Art Partner) recreates Linda’s signature style with a mix of archival pieces from Linda’s wardrobe alongside new designs by daughter, Stella McCartney. Luchford’s dreamy snapshots serve to compliment the easygoing, late 70s vibe of the fashions, while Suvi Koponen takes the lead role capturing Linda’s spirt and ebullient energy.

The accompanying film with its Wings soundtrack and home movie feel gives a complete portrait of Linda as a mother, image maker and enduring icon. See the teaser film below and the full film in the Vogue UK iPad app.

Hey, Big Spender!

March 14th, 2014 |Posted by Matthew

Whetting your envy for retail therapy, British Vogue’s April issue follows a bevy of fresh faces as they embark upon a shopping fantasy along Paris’ storied Avenue Montaigne. Nigel Shafran shoots 9 rising girls—Estella Brons, Binx Walton, and Olympia Campbell among them—as they set to popping tags at fashion’s biggest brands, including Céline, Louis Vuitton, and Alaia. Snapping each girl at a different stage of the shopping ritual, the series finds Natalie Westling at David Chipperfield’s Valentino boutique and Ine Neefs hilariously praying before the window at Chanel. Though Irina Liss and Elodia Prieto are the only girls seen leaving stores with bags in tow, we can’t pity the others; styled by Joe McKenna, every girl, from Harleth Kuusik to Alewya Demmisse, looks like she owns the place. / See the full story on MAP

Anna Rises

October 30th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

It is easy to see why Anna Ewers is the most wanted girl of the moment. The German beauty has a pristine appeal that calls to mind Deutschland favorites like Toni Garrn and Claudia Schiffer. Classic beauty is always great, but nothing beats a girl with the look and the ability to bring it in front of the camera. Since her stellar show season (check out her Top 10 Newcomer story) Anna has been making a splash in the pages of Vogue Paris, CR Fashion Book, British Vogue and the latest Prada campaign – an impressive lineup for any model, but a breakout series of bookings for a girl fresh on the scene.

Galliano Guest

October 30th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

Kate Moss on the cover of British Vogue is nothing new (Kate has racked up 34 covers of the magazine in her storied career) but John Galliano as guest fashion editor is an unexpected change of pace. The controversial former Dior designer features alongside Kate in Tim Walker‘s vintage inspired cover story and brings his flair for drama to the pages sporting a top-hat & tails in Walker’s high flying images.
