And the cover is…..

Katrin Thormann! Though the Vogue Italia cover is always highly anticipated, anxious fans were kept awaiting just a little bit longer wondering who would grace the last issue of 2008. Women‘s new breakout star follows up her double girl November cover with an exquisite solo turn on the front of the Italian style bible. Meisel turns it out yet again with an impeccable shot of Katrin’s flawless beauty. The cover’s choice of model and text highlights that indeed fashion is moving forward.

Ph: Meisel for Vogue Italia December 08. With Women NY/Milan/Paris, Seeds Germany.

  1. the 2 lasto story of italin vogue r teribly boring..n this one s even worst..i got”god”meisel can do almost everything..but this s little too much 10 pages of the same stupid pic where the models r not even connected to the camera n with eachtoher…patetic

  2. I think this cover looks captivating, and I thought the last Italian Vogue spread featuring Thormann and Garnn was one of the best, most interesting editorials recently. They worked well together, looked great, and were able to tell a story.
Also, why so many typos, Mr. Truman Capote?

  3. I just saw the whole editorial today, and it’s interesting to see that this time the cover and the story have quite a few differences, the cover being less “sexy” and “commercial” than the pages of the story.
Also, like the last time, there are many shots with two girls, so it’s kind of a sexy sequel to the last issue of Vogue Italia.
