Coco Rocha is engaged! Congrats!! And speaking of Coco, Fashion Week Daily takes to the streets to find out who/what people think a “Coco Rocha” is...

We agree with Jezebel, why are there blondes on these covers?

And yes, more models of color on the runway, please. 16% non-white is still not enough.

How cool are Greg Kessler‘s Model Morphosis for the NY Times?

The fashion industry is filled with people with unhealthy habits. For the young models who are struggling with their weight, please don’t ever let it get to this point (and if it does, get help).

In the wake of Alexander McQueen‘s tragic death by suicide, it is really great to see the work Daniel “Harry Potter” Radcliffe is doing. If only more people in high profile industries would give back to the world like this….

Read photographer David Benjamin Sherry’s open and wonderfully refreshing interview on being gay and how photographer Collier Schorr was his professor!

  1. At the same time though , Jessica Stam does look amazing on the cover of Turkish vogue . I am always more likely to pick up a magazine with a model on the cover as opposed to a actor or something . Jessica Stam is basically a supermodel at this stage . It makes sense Turkish vogue would want to launch with a {,in some circles,}celebrity to catch the attention of the public .

  2. Seriously though why even bother to have a W Korea, and no Korean model on the cover? Are they going to tell me that finding 3 good Korean model is impossible?

  3. I don’t think Alexander McQueen killed himself because he was struggling with his sexuality…

  4. Whining about not having real Korean models in W Korea is like whining about not having real Supermodels in US Vogue. Its useless at this point……..

I guess we just have to live with it.
