i-D Magazine released a preview of no. 353, The Earthwise issue, starting of course with covers. There’s three, each in good, if not great, company and each marvels, “Imagine you could be the one to change it all”, a quote from Westminster fashion graduate Paolo Carzana. There is: Anok Yai by Ethan James Green, a story which explores the A/W 18 collections styled by Alastair McKimm; Adesuwa Aighewi is photographed by Oliver Hadlee Pearch in Brooklyn, New York; and Adut Akech gets lensed by London-based Campbell Addy who offers his fresh perspective for his first ever print cover. Introducing the issue, Holly Shackleton, Global Editor-in-Chief writes of Addy, “We first met Campbell when he was just a student at Central Saint Martins, and in the few short years since we have watched him skyrocket into one of London’s freshest photographic talents,” and Shackleton continues to welcome a new senior fashion editor, Carlos Nazario and a new fashion editor at large, Ib Kamara. Beyond that, inside the magazine, an interview with Demna Gvasalia is promised, artwork by Coco Capitan and more.
