Vogue Germany Focuses on #WhatMatters

Oh, do we love a role model and the August issue of Vogue Germany seems to love them too. Photographer Daniel Jackson captures the piercing gazes of model activists Doutzen Kroes, Edie Campbell, Naomi Campbell, and Anja Rubik who all take a stand on the issues of today with much fervor. While Dutch Super Kroes continues her conservation efforts to save the elephants, the Campbells tackle diversity and the fashion industry’s response to #MeToo, with Rubik rounding it up as she leads talks on sexual education in her ultra-conservative, native Poland. Inside the magazine reveals more of the models making a difference like Alek Wek‘s continuous humanitarian work with refugees, Jacquelyn Jablonski‘s foundation Autism Tomorrow, and Hanne Gaby Odiele‘s efforts to bring awareness to being intersex. No matter how big or small the problem, Vogue Germany sets out to prove that making a difference starts with a spark.
