Boycott Magazine Celebrates Riccardo Tisci for Nike

In the year between Riccardo Tisci’s departure from Givenchy and his appointment at Burberry earlier this month, the Italian designer has been far from idle. Boycott Magazine’s new issue celebrates one of Tisci’s latest projects, a collaboration for Nike that takes as a starting point the fictional sports team the Victorious Minotaurs, combining athletics and mythology, two of his long-lived passions. In a brash cover story photographed by Pierre et Gilles and styled by Simon Pylyser, a diverse group—including Ralph Souffrant, Connor Newall, Debra Shaw, and Cordula Reyer—models the capsule collection, which riffs on classic Nike iconography with Tisci’s trademark edge.
