British Vogue Starts Again

Releasing to great fanfare, the first December issue of British Vogue under the helm of editor-in-chief Edward Enninful has been unveiled with model of the moment, advocate, and proud Brit Adwoa Aboah landing the cover. Shot by Steven Meisel, his first cover for a British magazine in 25 years, and cloaked in Marc Jacobs, the opening visual oozes retro 60s vibes with Aboah thoroughly radiating holiday cheer for the upcoming season. The gang is all together again as Guido Palau and makeup master Pat McGrath (you know Pat McGrath Labs had to get a piece) join forces for a glamorous beauty partnership that blends past and present seamlessly.

Take a peek at some of the inside imagery below and be sure to pick the issue up on international newsstands stands November 10th!

  1. I loved the cover with Adwoa, but the rest of the photos is boring, that black-white style of S. Meisel is boring. At this moment we need something new and elegant.

  2. I love the cover! However, as an issue titled ‘Great Britain’ why didn’t a British photographer shoot it?
