A Better World

Parisian label Peet Dullaert‘s latest campaign images are layered with a reverence for the sea that would make Botticelli proud. The ethereal visuals photographed by Robbert Jacobs are transportive to a myth meets fashion world–and also allude to more serious matters at hand: “While beauty prevails, its source for good simultaneously calls for awareness to help protect our oceans and decaying coral reefs in efforts to preserve the magnificent diversity they have harboured for centuries,” says Dullaert continuing, “Together we contribute to a better world.” Even the classical statues, used as a backdrop for the romantically delicate designs, hold more meaning than meets the eye, Dullaert calling them “remnants of an old world” in which the growth of coral is “a symbol for life.” It’s an issue the designer finds pressing, enough to make it a brand mission by setting up “Care For Earth – Plant For The Future”, concerned with protecting the earth’s biosphere. You can be learned more about it here and preview the 2017 campaign below.
