Going Rogue, Rightfully

Inspired by the politics of punk subculture, London-based biannual magazine Beauty Papers finds the courage to challenge the conventional in its spring issued themed, “The Beautiful”. Steered by Maxine Leonard, whose creative intel yields five fantastical cover portraits by contributors Sølve Sundsbø, Charlie Engman, Roe Ethridge, Rory Payne, and Alessio Boni, the latest rollout is completely absent of advertisers. The dream that only cosmetics can give birth to does not end there: Conversations with hairstylist Malcolm Edwards and American Vogue Executive Fashion Editor Phyllis Posnick reveal how the most captivating visual narratives of their careers have come into fruition. In this exclusive preview of “Issue 03,”  the culture of beauty takes a strong and vividly raw stance against pseudo glamour.
