As women worldwide fight against patriarchal norms, Zoo Magazine proclaims its editorial support for feminine pride. The magazine enlists Hot Lister Isabella Emmack, photographed by Bryan Adams, and Top 50 ranker Maartje Verhoef, shot by Hugh Lippe, to make the message clear. Both models are styled in a series of patriotic looks with fashionable references alluding as far back to the Roman Empire all summoned by venerable fashion director, Joanne Blades. Subversive designers Alexander Wang, Maison Martin Margiela, Proenza Schouler, Sacai, and Stella McCartney all lend killer looks to the protest. Hairstylist Joey George and makeup artisan Makky tease slightly Isabella’s natural tomboy personality while Maarte gets transformed with a graphic cut that pairs smartly with Ozzy Salvatierra‘s agenda-pushing eyebrow treatment.
