The people at Purple Fashion practically wrote the book on cheeky-mannered matter. In that spirit, issue 27 sees a liberated Grace Hartzel photographed amusingly by Sandy Kim, styled by Delphine Danhier on its cover. The accompanying inside editorial is carefree and catchy. Good things can come when don’t take yourself (or fashion) too seriously. If print ever has drawn lines, Purple has probably casually stepped over them. Inside the featured cast is colorful as ever: director Mike Mills, artists Julio Le Parc and Vanessa Beecroft, Rick Owens, a conversation between William Eggleston and Glenn O’Brien, images from Ryan McGinley and John Currin, plus a special edition Purple Book by Carsten Holler. Preview the cover editorial with Grace below before the full issue comes out soon.
