Sweet Dreams

We’re transported to the majestic terrain of the Himalayas for the latest issue of British Vogue. Shot by Tim Walker and styled by Kate Phelan, model Karen Elson is ethereally set in the kingdom of Bhutan with regal, almost monastic designs from Maison Martin Margiela, Céline, Prada & Valentino. Here we delve in and out of the traditions of the people of Bhutan and the intangible creation of master storyteller, Tim Walker, for our viewing pleasure. The fiery redhead takes on her fear of heights with this trip of colossal proportions and documents every moment for the magazine.

  1. I love Karen Elson, but this editorial do not impress me. This seems like a mixture of the Tíbet, scarecrows and Celtic witches.

  2. The clothes definitely steal the show. Miss Elson is becoming quite secondary and clown-like in her recent work and I don’t think it suits her.
