When we think about the way in which lingerie is marketed, it’s easy to envision the typical tropes of sexed up imagery and in your face displays of skin, but La Perla‘s latest campaign proves you can market the very best in nightwear while maintaining subtlety. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (Art Partner) create a sensual spring /summer campaign for the venerable lingerie house capturing their new made to measure collection on Sigrid Agren, Ming Xi and Izabel Goulart. Richard Biedul joins the fun as the campaign’s menswear face, looking dapper in layers of textured black. Fabien Baron creative direction serves to anchor the campaign, allowing Mert & Marcus’ elegant images to take center stage.

  1. I know they’re one of the top names but it’s rare I like what they do. Something seems to be missing, it’s always well produced but something’s not there. When you compare them to the other big names: Meisel, Klein, Van Lamsveerde, Sims and Mc Dean, they leave me wanting… no personality, no individual style.
