Campaign Trail

The gang is all here! Miuccia Prada’s artistic spring collection comes to life in vivid images by Steven Meisel. Catwalkers Amanda MurphyAnna EwersAshleigh GoodCindy BrunaGracie Van GastelJulia BergshoeffLexi BolingLieke Van HoutenMagdalena JasekMaggie JablonskiMaja SalamonMalaika FirthNastya StenOla RudnickaOphelie GuillermandSabrina Ioffreda & Viktor Van Pelt  share space in colorful campaign but the clothes steal the show. The painted faces that made the collection so memorable are in full effect in the accessories shot and Miuccia’s ladylike shapes make the cast of newcomers look gorgeous.

Lindsey Wixson and Sasha Luss strike a pose for Karl Lagerfeld‘s lens and add a touch of cool to the eclectic Chanel spring collection. Sporting rainbow colors, oversized pearl baubles and a plethora of handbags Lindsey & Sasha are technicolor muses worthy of Chanel’s vibrant, painterly collection.

Gucci’s boudoir ready spring collection gets a suitably sensual campaign by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (Art Partner). Sultry rising stars Amanda Wellsh and Elisabeth Erm pose against a crimson backdrop in sequined pieces by Frida Gianinni, while Tommaso de Benedictis takes center stage in the equally sleek menswear ads.

It’s been a few seasons since Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin helmed the Chloe campaign, but the duo doesn’t miss a beat. With Lou Doillon and Julia Stegner front and center in summery images filled with floaty minidresses and espadrilles, Inez and Vinoodh perfectly capture the laid back look & feel that defines Chloe.

  1. @Janelle
In the Prada credits there is one girl missing, her name is Dorota Kullová, she is from Slovakia, she entered the EML contest in Slovakia.

  2. I’m really disappointed with the prada campaign this season. Bad casting and the staging of the models is pure thoughtless. It’s too much.

  3. the prada ad is noting but a backstage image ( there were plenty like those in 90s in any gianni versace catalog along with the images of the campaign ) any one else taking the photo or any other deisgner would been judge very differently but as this is prada n the photographer is meiesel people s calling this genius, the same could have been told of this summer collection where the strongest piece are fur coats ( same for the miu miu collection ) i ve been a very big fan or prada all those years but this feel so forced and not really appealing unless you are a student at the first year of fit

  4. Gucci is my favorite one – Amanda and Erm look fantastic ! So happy Gucci finally gave a chance to unknown faces rather than the same boring ones. Prada become less special with so many models . The concept is great but the amount of girl – make them lost in the bunch ..

  5. I loved this season’s Prada collection. The fine attention to detail, the strong sense of lines, the depiction of empowered women, etc.

With all these girls I loose it. Meisel could have used five girls at the most and got the point across. Its just too much. I don’t get the hype, and wish Malaika was in more than one shot.

Love Lyndsey in Chanel. I’m still waiting for Joan to appear in another Gucci campaign. She was made for that brand.

  6. A major fail from Steven Meisel this season from translating Prada’s collection into campaign image. The setting is too much. Too crowded.
