Fashion has the power to transform you, literally. Steven Meisel puts the old adage to the test and takes Edie Campbell on a wild trip through the latest Lanvin collection in the new fall advertising campaign. Portraying six very different personas in the sleek shots, Edie showcases the versatility of Alber Elbaz‘s designs and her innate posing skills – it’s not easy to look chic while holding a duck and wearing a two-tone fur. Her transformations are aided by impressive makeup by Pat McGrath and Guido Palau‘s hair magic, all of which combines to show a fresh side of Ms. Campbell.
amazing!!
Strangely appealing. Love the shot with the duck.
I’ll echo what Erik said: Strangely appealing. These ads definitely have my attention.
WOW!
Stunning. The best fall campaign.
When Steven Meisel, Pat McGrath and Guido Palau work together to channel those lush slightly saturated colours of fashion from the 40s, 50s and 60s, the results are almost always kapaoWOW. So breathtakingly good.
Um.
Lanvin has lost it’s luster, their advertising has always had an air of strangeness but 😡
the only remaining interesting model i look up to for inspiration this days. the rest are so boring..
I think she isn’t perfect for Lanvin.
