Blast from the Past: Linda Loves Chanel

We couldn’t help but rejoice when we saw the supermodel to end all supermodels, Linda Evangelista, showing up in the latest Chanel eyewear campaign. Of course that got us thinking about Linda’s history with the brand; can you believe she’s been working with Chanel for over twenty years now?! Have a look back at some of our favorite Linda + Chanel moments, and be sure to share yours in the comments!

  1. AMAZEBALLS! she looks incredible in the latest eyewear campaign.
i’ve always loved the pairing of Linda and Christy! so much chemistry!

  2. Thank you…this is a beautiful tribute to a model who never wanted anything more…but to model.

  3. And my favorite Chanel moment? I think when she opened the show for the Spring/Summer 2005 collection, followed by Shalom Harlow, Kristen McMenamy, Naomi Campbell, and Amber Valletta. That gave me goosebumps!

  4. I wish gifs were allowed in the comments coz the best way i can explain the feeling i got when i saw her in those blue frames was that severus snape mybodyiswilling.gif. The lady gives some serious face. Karl may not be the best photographer but when he gets it right he really nails it. Great job all round.

  5. I am not a big fan of the old Chanel stuff, but the new eyewear campaign is spectacular. I saw the Making of the Campaign photos over at…this woman can pose her arse off! OMG, I would love to be in a photo session with Linda with any photographer, just to see her in action.
