Vogue takes on the pastel trend with a spirited story by Raymond Meier featuring Anais Pouliot. Accessories take center stage as Elissa Santisi breaks out the big guns with pieces from YSL, Prada and Proenza. A wide arrange of luxurious tech add-ons also feature, because who doesn’t need a Valentino case for their Blackberry?

As always Anais brings her combo of girlish sweetness and sensuality to the table, making her first only girl Vogue story a standout.

Lovely Loulou

February 28th, 2012 |Posted by betty

Because of their admirable policy of working with models over 18, the power duo of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin‘s usual subjects are the biggest supermodels around. News that there’s a fabulous new face captivating them is exciting and who better to tell her story than I+V themselves? How they expound about her is as eloquent as their iconic images.

“Imagine that we asked the technician at our 3D imaging company the following:

Remember Penélope Cruz in Jamón, jamón?
Remember Isabelle Adjani in L’eté meurtrier?
Remember Andie MacDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral?
Remember Sandrine Bonnaire in Sans toit ni loi?
Remember Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman?
Remember Helena Christensen in… everything?
And remember Kate Moss naked?

Now imagine that he morphed these seven goddesses into one irresistible concoction of feline femininity. Out comes… LouLou- French and 19, what more could you want?”

Digitally inserted into some of their most well known shoots, Loulou is styled by Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele. See the full story below and pick up V Magazine’s biggest March issue ever this Thursday at newsstands everywhere.

The way Stephen Gan tells it, the story behind V Magazine‘s Sports Issue extravaganza starring Stephanie Seymour is the stuff of fashion legend. “Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele came by V a few days after New Year’s and talked about running into Stephanie Seymour in St Barts over the holidays and said how amazing she looked,” Gan tells MDC “48 hours later, I was standing in a studio and here she is…. fresh from her beach holiday, all sun-tanned and gorgeous!”

Have a look at Sebastian Faena‘s scuba-chic shots of the always iconic Miss Seymour (view the full story on VMagazine.com) be sure to check out V’s Sports Issue when it hits newsstands Thursday March 1st!

The Upton Effect

February 22nd, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

The sexy market just got a little more competitive thanks to the meteoric rise of Kate Upton. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition was a major coup, but the momentum keeps building with cover after cover. From a Marilyn Monroe turn on the latest Muse Magazine, to upstaging Don Draper himself on Esquire, it seems Kate is gunning for that numero uno slot on Top Sexiest. Only time will tell if the blonde bombshell will make an impact with the high fashion crowd and snag the coveted honors but we can’t remember the last time a newbie made such a splash!
