The Open Search consists of the search pages accessible at http://models.com/search. This search is accessible to any visitor of the MODELS.com Web site but only active members and Participating Modeling Agencies can contact members listed on the Open Search.

Who can use the Open Search?
Anyone can use the Open Search, but only active MODELS.com members and Participating Modeling Agencies can contact members listed in the Open Search.

How is my privacy protected if I am listed in the Open Search?
Your privacy is very important to us. When you are listed on the Open Search and when you receive contacts or reply to contacts your anonymity is protected. Only your first name and the initial of your last name and your location will appear. Your full name, your email address and any other personal information are not viewable.

How can I update my listing?
To update your MODELS.com portfolio please go to my.models.com

Why am I not listed in the Open Search?
To be listed you must be a member, and your portfolio must be set to "Public" in your privacy settings (view your my.models.com portfolio editing page to adjust your privacy settings.) If you are a new member your portfolio has to be reviewed by our staff before it will be listed, this will usually take one to two business days at most.

Will I be automatically listed if I am member?
Yes, if you are 18 and over your portfolio will automatically get listed once it has been reviewed. If you are under 18, you must explicitly get the approval of your parent or legal guardian to be listed and your portfolio has to be opted in to the Open Search.

How can I remove my listing?
To remove your MODELS.com portfolio from being listed in the Open Search please go to your my.models.com page and set your portfolio to "private"

If I receive a contact is it endorsed or verified by MODELS.com?
We do not verify or endorse any contact you may receive from being listed on the MODELS.com Open Search pages. Please use common sense and caution when replying to any contact.

Always ask for references and use the Member Forums to ask other members for advice about any contact you receive.

Contacts from Participating Modeling Agencies will be specifically marked as such.

What are MODELS.com Participating Agencies?
Participating Modeling Agencies are established modeling agencies with a proven track record of finding work for the models they represent and that have been in business for at least 1 year.

How will I know if a contact is from a Participating Agency?
A contact is from a Participating Modeling Agency only if it is marked "Participating Agency" and is highlighted in yellow in your contact page.
