A former banker, this Canadian has come a long way in just a year, starting from a Prada exclusive last summer and a Fall 2014 show season where he was nearly ubiquitous, walking for most of the top shows. His first campaigns this Fall, for Y-3 by Cedric Buchet and Ports 1961 by Craig McDean, demonstrate the versatility of his sharp features.

It’s not much of a shock that modeling should come easily to this gentle-faced Brit, a fashion-design student at Central Saint Martins. A common sight on the runways since walking for Lanvin and Dries Van Noten in his first season back in January 2012, he has popped up in major editorials for i-D,10 Men, and Arena Homme+ since then, as well as David Sims’ vibrant campaign for Jil Sander this past Spring.

Loyalty can be a rare sight in fashion, so when a brand as major as Burberry keeps rebooking, others take notice. Scouted at a music festival, this young Londoner has lent his classically British features to back-to-back campaigns for the historic house, and a third runway appearance in a row this past June proves the relationship is still going strong.

Long a runway and editorial favorite, this charming young Brit makes the leap to campaigns in a big way this season, with roles in Cerruti and Armani Exchange work. The English-lit major, who made our Top Newcomers list a year ago for Spring 2014 on the strength of the one-two punch of his exclusives for Prada and Kenzo, has been on a streak ever since, no surprise given his cheeky appeal. This Spring's Cerruti campaign lands him on our Hot List.

A Vogue Hommes International shoot with Willy Vanderperre last spring led to an appearance in the photographer’s Fall 2014 “Notes of a Day” campaign for Dior Homme. An excellent run of shows in January show that designers love his unique beauty.

Miuccia’s always known exactly what she wants, so while it’s not exactly a shock that she tapped Kolbitz for the Fall 2014 Prada campaign over a decade—yes, that’s right, a decade—after he first appeared in the Fall 2003 Miu Miu ad, it is nonetheless an impressive feat of longevity. A Zara lookbook and a twenty-page story by Liz Collins in the latest issue of Fantastic Man only affirm his comeback status, while his starring role in art photographer Wolfgang Tillmans’ “Central Nervous System” project underlines the unpredictable twists of an unconventional career.
