William spent his childhood learning about art, and art-making in his father’s studio – a fine art silkscreen print shop, and darkroom for developing and printing photographs. He holds degrees in both classical and jazz piano.

At 19 he was photographed by renowned art photographer Ryan McGinley, whose images have appeared in galleries around the world from the MoMa in New York to the Mori museum in Tokyo.

In 2016 he composed and performed original music for the Alexander McQueen menswear show in London. In 2019 he supervised and performed the music for J.M. Weston’s winter show in Paris, and acted in a Bally Holiday ad campaign shot in London.

William has played in residence for boutique hotels and private members clubs - The Hotel Amour in Paris and Quo Vadis in London’s Soho.

He has lived in London, Zürich, Paris, New York and Tokyo.
