Grown up in New York, Skye Parrott began her career in Paris, where she worked as a photo assistant and managing editor at Self Service, and was Nan Goldin’s right hand before starting her own personal career as a photographer in 2004. 

Thanks to her amazing sensibility and artistic touch, Skye’s pictures have been widely exhibited, and she also became curator and creative consultant. in 2008 she co-founded and became the creative director of Dossier, a bi-annual arts and culture journal incorporating fashion, photography, creative writing, art, music and culinary pursuits, followed by dossierjournal.com. 

Being able to capture all woman’s natures – romantic, rock, sporty, genuine etc. – giving them always a glamorous allure, Skye has collaborated with magazines and journals like Acne Paper, Dazed & Confused, I-D, The New York Times, Nowness, Pop, Jalouse, Interview and others, as well as with clients like Breitling, Jill By Jill Stuart, J. Lindenberg, Nike, Pamela Love, Siemens, Sony Bmg, Urban Outfitters. She currently lives in Brooklyn and works between New York and Paris.
