biography
Tunisian born designer. Hailed as a genius by
those in the know, Alaia has referred to himself as
a master builder manifested in his sculptural
approach to the female form. Since the late 70's, he
has dressed some of the most stunning women in
the world, from Greta Garbo to Grace Jones, Raquel
Welch, Madonna and every supermodel of the
