Alexander Saladrigas was born and raised in Miami, Florida, to a family of first-generation Americans that emigrated from Cuba. He attributes his success to the work ethic he learned from his family members and their nurturing of exploring his passions. Growing up, he always excelled in art, which led him to photography as his preferred form of creative expression. He began considering photography as a career path in 2013, which led to his move to New York City in 2014.
Alexander is currently exploring the concepts of family and culture as a Cuban-American and Floridian. He is in the process of shooting his first book. Thus far, Alexander has shot for clients, including Coach, Isabel Marrant, Christopher John Rogers, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, and Kate Spade. His editorial work includes publications such as Harpers Bazaar US, WSJ, The Cut, Vogue Mexico, Vogue Ukraine, Vogue Poland, Vogue Spain, Vogue Turkey, French Numero, and Telegraph.
