Marilyn Model Mgmt’s FW 09 show package opts for a beautiful clarity, expressing an ideal of  storm clouds on its outside envelope inside of which lies a suite of the most exciting newcomers on the market mingling with the agency’s stars. By compressing the name of each girl on the front of her card in bold type with expressive portraits that capture the individuality of each face, Marilyn’s in house art directors have made it quite easy for a casting director to map out the casting wall. And then if there are any questions about scale or proportion of body, the full length images on the back of nearly all the cards makes cutting through your casting choices all the easier. For two seasons running Marilyn has witnessed a surge of coveted newcomers like Liu Wen, Eniko, Constance, Anya K, Arlenis, Gracie and Melo . Now with Prada opener Katlin in town for her 1st NYC season and highly anticipated 1st season prospects like the fantastic R’el, Lindsey and  Alisa along with early breakouts like Taylor and Hannah clocking up major options, expect that formidable run to continue for SS2010. The best surprise in this pack? The runway return of Irina Lazraneau.

   Love Rel. Love the Numero September editorial. Maybe all those angry posters should have waited to see the full editorial before they went off on their rant. I’m sure they’d be happy to see that shes actually making eye contact with the camera.

   Marilyn is going to be the agency to beat. Too many stunning faces to name. R’el is about to set the world on fire, I’m thinking she’ll get the most walks of all models this season. Arlenis is flawless.
