Quick Questions : Lea Colombo

LEA_COLOMBO-PORTRAIT

Lea Colombo is no stranger to the unexpected. Whether it’s relocating from her hometown of Cape Town to travel halfway around the world to Paris, cleverly associating herself editorially with books like Dazed & Confused and i-D, or capturing the backstage melee of mega-shows like Celine, Chanel, Dior, and Prada, the demure, self-taught photographer has cultivated her natural, color-infused style of fashion portraiture into a lane that is all her own. What’s distinct about Lea’s taste is her ability to organically catch the raw allure of her subjects. It then makes perfect sense that in her rapid ascent to critical acclaim she has newly aligned herself with creative agency, Streeters. We reached out to the witty, promising star for our new Quick Questions series to find out a few things on her mind.
