It’s a supernova of superstars at IMG as its seductive silver S/S 06 package is now in heavy rotation throughout the industry. With each image reprinted on a mirrored surface -a process that could not have been cheap- the cards are a total head-whipper. Apart from the silver shimmer of the cards, the package overflows with some of the most wanted newcomers on the market right this second. The range stretches from instant sensation Viktoria Sekreier (Valentino FW 05) to Top 50 faces Bianca Balti (Missoni, Donna Karan, Cavalli), Mona (Ungaro+ Boss Hugo Boss FW 05), Freja (Balenciaga FW 05) and Sasha (Prada FW 05).
OTM wanted to capture the full-on silver effect, but the dazzle was so severe our poor scanner could only process the cards as silhouettes. It was Betty Sze and her trusty digi-cam to the rescue as she quickly snapped a small selection of cards (complete with the reflections of the surrounding buildings picking up on the mirrored surface). Andy Warhol would have lived for it all.
