Last week I was in LA on a scouting trip for new talent. What I discovered thrilled me to no end. Her eponymous named line Uyen-Uyen Designs, has caught the attention of several major stores like Jennifer Kaufman and Henri Bendel and a host of celebrity fans including Hilary Swank, Famke Janssen and Angela Bassett. She works in 14K, 18K, gold-filled and silver as her basis and designs magnificent asymmetrical pieces around semi-precious and precious stones like faceted rubies, emeralds and black diamonds. Her line sells from $99 to $600. Her jewelry is an addiction waiting to happen.
