Top 10 Newcomers F/W 13: Katya R.

Austerity has found its new face in Russian Katya Ryabinkina (Supreme Management), a doll-like beauty with piercing eyes and a walk that just won’t quit. The minimalist crew of Calvin Klein, Dior and Jil Sander all went wild for Katya, but don’t think that pared down purity is all she can do. The bubbly fresh face unleashed her wild side at Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Pucci and proved herself a versatile force to be reckoned with.

  1. Great pick. Will be hard to narrow down the rest, Sasha Luss, Elizabeth erm,
Amanda Murphy, Kate B. Tess and Tessa from Alexander Wang, Irene Heimstra, Dauphine Mckee.Think Mijo and Kayley added too soon.

  2. She’s so much prettier than that awful picture of her! I thought she had a fairly decent previous season too, but this was surely her break through.

  3. Capable of expressing a confident seduction (not a surprise to see her walking shows like Versace/Gucci), and at the same time so romantic, dreamy (see Valentino), and very sophisticated – from some points of view a somehow more versatile and less irritating (hehe duh) version of Ondria Hordin, that I quite like for sure. And how incredibly solid and reliable she is on the runway really makes of Katya an option good for practically any showlist.
