Consistency can be a strength and a weakness, for designers Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra it falls somewhere in between. Their elegantly draped jersey dresses are editor favorites and are always beautiful on the runways. This season was no different; the autumnal hues and their rich colors brought out the best of Costello Tagliapietra’s soigné style, though there were moments that felt slightly repetitive. That said, fans of the duos’ belted dresses and knitted sweaters will find much to love, particularly this season’s aerial printed numbers, which provided an abstract burst of energy.
