Brandon Sun‘s darkly luxurious take on fashion is instantly enticing. The Parsons grad may be a relatively new face on the scene, but his S/S collection showcases the experience he picked up working for refined labels like Oscar de la Renta, where he headed up the fur division. There is a sumptuousness to Sun’s work that is very adult, but it is tempered by an edgy, at times gothic sensibility that is sure to appeal to a young audience. His graphic collection, done mainly in shades of slate, cream and jet has the kind of crossover appeal that is sure to put his name high on the list of young designers to watch.
