Since its launch last season the Pierre Balmain line has garnered a reputation for sleek pieces made for men and women who want a bit of Balmain luxury, at a price point that is a little more down to earth. While the first season thrived on edgy essentials, fall finds the brand in a refined mood, with elegant looks dominating the collection. When we stopped into an ultra-chic Paris apartment to view the collection during fashion week, we were blown away by the versatility of the looks shown as well as the beautiful campaign film shot by Martial Schmeltz, with art direction by Atelier Franck Durand and featuring Adrien Sahores & Melissa Stasiuk. Inspired by the feel of 60s French & Italian cinema, the short sets the mood for a collection that is instantly appealing. Take a look at the film and the high gloss look book shots to experience the collection for yourself.
