1. Karl definitely knows well how to advertise new collections, but this went utterly to far. Europe is facing a real recession and it is clearly inappropriate to be spending millions on just a background of the entire show. Also the ironic aspect is, that gigantic crystal instalment looks better and more contemporary than tweed rags designed by Lagerfeld! Sadly the rule of contrast did not work here completely, the only thing that keeps in touch with the oppressive set design are shoes! Sometimes less means more mister Karl.
