“Illusion is the first of all pleasures,” a quote by Oscar Wilde caps the inside card of the ONE’s S/S 09 show package. It is an ideal reference as this presentation takes great pleasure in wrapping the One girls in a kind of romantic filigree. The boldfaced names like Olga, Aline, Colette are turbaned and soft-lit by photographer Matt Sundin while the “little ones” like Claudia and Gantz and Selena are draped Victorian style. The interesting choice of a separate site (www.onemanagement.com/ss09) to promote this imagery certainly extends the ambiance in unique and innovative fashion.
