Tsumori Chisato‘s eclectic designs are all about color, pattern and the wonderful things that happen when the two elements combine. The Japanese mainstay has been pleasing fans for decades with her wild creations and each collection feels designed to lift the spirits. Models wore oversized parasols and cateye sunglasses with their retro swimwear and sequin covered dresses, to create a vibe that was somewhere between Esther Williams glam and anime kinetic. Toss those old Hawaiian shirts out, because Ms. Chisato has revitalized beachwear with her cool and off-kilter take.
