The brand is the brainchild of Paul van Zyl, former executive secretary of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission and utilizes the skills of artisans in developing nations, to create beautiful ethically produced clothing at a luxury price point. The impressive first collection, overseen by design director Kristy Caylor featured richly detailed embroidery, exquisite silks and sleek accessories sourced from a variety of locales. Stunning hand carved rings from Columbia, a hand block printed number from India, sculpted gold cuffs from Kenya; truly a vision of global fashion at its best.
