Jill Stuart and her usual feminine flirty line went stronger and tougher this season with an emphasis on an intellectual muse, Joan of Arc. The lineup? All the beautiful girls that had that extra bit of strength and toughness.
John Varvatos’s love of rock and roll always makes his show one of the most exciting for the boys to do and to see who shows up for the event. The lineup? Loyal to his favorites but always open to the young rock star models of tomorrow, look to this line for some of the next new faces breaking out.
Malo’s modernist leanings led to an obsession with a very visual image for each look. The lineup? The line needed striking girls that could carry these intense pieces; with current top stars and the new rising stars, it was a match made in heaven.
