The flora and fauna of the natural world is in full bloom and full flight as the back panel of the new IMG show package and the beautiful surprise of that creative flourish makes for a fantastic end gesture for our show package cavalcade. A huge part of the suspense for this IMG package was the roster of SS08 new faces from last season who would be surfacing in NY for the first time. Well the new stars are all here and it will be very exciting to see last season’s Prada opener, Adina, making her NY rounds. Kamila is here too and this gorgeous girl (apart from being a NY Top 10 Newcomer shoe-in) is bound to be most wanted. Heidi Mount has returned to the city a conquering hero, FW 08 couture queen Diane F is here too and that means the IMG army - stocked with other secret weapons like Daria Strokous, Kori Richardson and editorial star Kinga - will be in a prime position to dominate those blue chip runways. And we haven’t even scratched those must-have runway stars ranging from the returning fixtures Erin Wasson, Freja, Lara Stone and Hilary Rhoda to the near iconic Sasha and Stam. With this much ammo this shop might just have to be open 24 hours to handle the volume of bookings bound to come in. Stay tuned for your first look of those Top 10 Newcomers for FW 08, starting next week. You know those IMG breakthroughs will be inevitable!
