How very good it must be to be one of the women of Women, right this minute. This season’s show package has a delicately etched water-color illustration for each girl that seem straight out of the title sequence of a Sofia Coppola film and the range of feminine ideal here is seriously case study. On all fronts, Women seems to have every kind of girl that a client might need, ranging from the super-selective suite of Carmen, Julia Stegner, Isabeli, Natasha Poly, Bruna, Natasa V, Kasia and Maria Carla to the show-stopping newcomers ranging from last season’s Prada walker Lovisa, and the hauntingly beautiful Masha. Given the massive success of Toni Garrn last season, the directional casting directors are combing this show package in obsessive detail, trying to suss out who the next Women star might be. Will it be the compelling Valeria D. Or is exotic Heloise going to sweep all those crucial shows. OTM has a soft spot for the very charming and super-witty Natalia Doronina but rest assured, this show package will give birth to a few FW 08 Top 10 Newcomers. The tracking starts next Tuesday!
